Why Mentor Matcher Exists
For many from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, leadership positions can feel out of reach - not because of ability, but because of limited exposure and role models who reflect their potential.
Our CEO, Karyn, has long emphasised that “diversity without mindset change isn’t enough.”
Through talks such as “Diversity is a Myth,” she has highlighted how inclusivity efforts often fail to address the internal beliefs that prevent talented individuals from aiming high.
The Mentor Matcher Programme tackles this issue head-on — challenging limiting beliefs, fostering ambition, and creating meaningful interactions between students and seasoned professionals.
